A group of 4 students from the Msc Urban Agriculture & Green Cities has just passed the 1st level of the 2021 edition of the International Student Challenge (URBANFARM 2021). The objective of this competition is to identify urban agriculture projects that promote the sustainability of the food systems of three selected European cities: Bologna, Naples and Romainville.
The students of the GrowPro team positioned themselves on the latter city: "Our project focuses on the diversification of crops and diets for better public health" explains the quartet, "We consume only 1% of all edible food on earth due to commercialization and global cultural influences. Thus, GrowPro aims to promote the importance of eating diverse foods like our ancestors and growing diverse foods to combat climate change, using multi-sensory experience".
The group has also set up a fusion cuisine incubator, the first in France, to train and discover talented ethnic chefs to create their unique fusion cuisine business.
Let's vote to encourage them!
